Neoregelia are a beautiful, easy care indoor plant from the Bromeliad family; having a huge amount of variation and colours. Mass-planting a number colours together can create a terrific contrasting tropical garden. Neoregelia produce small blue or white flowers which typically don't extend past the 'central vase' of the plant, however the stunning foliage more than make up for their lack of flower spike/bract that is typical forthe majority of Bromeliads. While they can handle low-light conditions, their foliage will adopt a far more vivid, bright colour if given bright, indirect sunlight. It's important to keep the 'central vase' topped up with water; however, if left for too long the water can stagnate, so it's a good idea to empty and replace the water each month or so.
